Mr. Gutierrez is currently the Managing Director of Technology and Solutions Architecture at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Mr. Gutierrez is a global executive with more than two decades of experience in information technology and business consulting for several industries around the world.

He is a former Group Vice President of Oracle Corporation, where he was responsible for the consulting business for the Latin America and Caribbean regions. 

He previously was the CEO and Managing Partner at rational7, leading Data, AI, IoT and Cloud initiatives globally. 

He was also a Managing Director in PwC where he was the Technology and Digital Consulting Leader for the Hispanoamerica Advisory Services region (HAAS).

Mr. Gutierrez is a member of the Board of Directors of: Angeles Investors, HITEC (Hispanic IT Executive Council) Foundation, and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. 

Mr. Gutierrez is a Computer Engineer graduated from the University Simon Bolivar of Venezuela, with Master degree in Management in Telecommunications from the University Simon Bolivar and the “Institut National des Télécommunications” of France.  He also has executive postgrads from MIT, INCAE, and IAE Business School. 

Mr. Gutierrez leadership and expertise in business and technology has been constantly recognized in the Americas. He is an 8 times awardee of the prestigious HITEC 100 and HITEC 50. He was inducted to the HITEC Hall of Fame in 2021. He was also selected as one of the 2011 Most Influential Hispanics in Technology by the Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology magazine. 

In 2014 he was recognized by Great Minds in STEM with the HENNACC award in Information Technology.

Mr. Gutierrez volunteers for several charitable organizations as Cristo Rey High schools, Life Runners, and the ADA (American Diabetes Association). He is married with three children and lives in Davie, Florida.
