Oscar Chavez-Arrieta is the Executive Vice President of Latin America at Sonicwall, where he leads the cybersecurity innovator’s strategic business direction in more than 40 countries including the Caribbean. A disruptive industry leader, Oscar has more than two decades of experience in advancing business growth. He previously led the growth of Sophos in Latin America, positioning his territory as the most successful theater worldwide within the company and as a top leader and market influencer within the region; prior to that he led partner sales transformation for Symantec and also held multiple management roles within Dell Latin America where he launched the organization’s first alliances program with companies such as Intel, Oracle and Microsoft among others. In these positions, Oscar created unique ways to engage the solutions as a service opportunity in Latin America – always with the channel in mind, adding true value to customers and the local and regional distribution ecosystem. Oscar is a passionate and widely recognized market leader, and an avid athlete. He holds a degree in economy from Kempten FHS in Germany, and a master’s degree in marketing and commercial management from the IPE of Spain.
